Despite the fact that the United States is a more free society and nation than is the United Kingdom, the Brits seem to have the freedom to publicly make statements that would get a Yank damned by the media.

By the way, in England there is an organization called the English Defense League that stands up for traditional English values. The organization is sneered at by the same class of people who embraced Hitler during the 30s, but is not unpopular with the average Brit of whatever race.
